I love you because...

We have this picture hanging in our bathroom that Ben and I use to write notes to each other everyday. It is especially nice when he is gone in North Dakota, I can write him a message and take a picture of it and send it to him. It's just a fun thing we do to tell each other reasons why we love each other. Usually it says something as simple as this....

Well when Ben was in North Dakota, Connor came out of the bathroom and told me that he had written a message to daddy. It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen him do. I never told him about how I wrote the messages and sent them to daddy, but somehow he figured it out and took it upon himself to write one. Here is what it said...

(I had already written the "you make me smile" and under it he had written "I love dad from Connor")

Now the other night he comes out of the bathroom saying he had wrote daddy another message. Below is the message he wrote...

It says "Will we play legos dad". He obviously missed the part about writing reasons for loving the other person and is now trying to use it as a way to get things he wants. But I guess it worked because tonight they played legos:) I can't wait to see what he'll ask for next. At least he's practicing his writing skills:)

Snow Baby

Photobucket

Despite this face....she really does LOVE being outside in the snow. All day long she is asking to go play outside.

We took the kids out to the lake and pulled them on the tubes behind the 4 wheeler. They both loved it and didn't want to stop. (But I think I drove Ben nuts telling him to "be careful" and "slow down" every 5 seconds) I just can't help it, I don't want anything to happen to these precious babies!

We've also done a lot of sledding in what little snow we've had this winter. Regardless, the kids spend hours every afternoon they can, sledding down the snow weed covered hill.

However, Bella's favorite thing to do while outside is to just walk around the tall grass asking if she can eat each and every piece of snow. One day I told her that the snow has puppy poop and pee on it, so now she walks around and asks me the piece of snow has potty on it, to which I will tell her it does have pee on it, and then she will pick up another piece and ask if it has potty on it, and this goes on and on no matter how many times I tell her that every piece has puppy pee and poo on it :)
